vintage Aynsley olive / mint dish.
Up for auction is a vintage Aynsley olive or candy dish. Per the print on the back it is fine English Bone China. The pattern is Cottage Garden and it further states ”portrayal of the flora of an English cottage garden”. Considering the age of the piece it is in beautiful condition. This dish belonged to an 85 year old acquaintance of mine and came out of a box marked “mother’s China”. There is a very tiny flea bite on the rim almost unnoticeable and a couple of dots that would have happened in manufacturing. The back has an indentation that would also have happened when it was made. See pics.
