RARE! 1909 Hudson-Fulton Celebration Medal, New York, Black Cross with Brass Insert, by Schwaabs & S, Milwaukee. This Event Occurred in New York and New Jersey, from Sep 25 thru Oct 2, 1909, Celebrating the 300th Anniversary of Hudson's Discovery of the Later-Named Hudson River and the 100th Anniversary of Fulton's Commercial Application of the Paddle Steamship.
Obverse Insert Shows Henry Hudson’s “Half Moon” Ship and Robert Fulton’s Steamship “Clermont”. Reverse is Inscribed with the “Our Father” Prayer.
