Lid top features a die struck copy of So Called Dollar HK-237E (Rarity-7).From the NGC Website (edited):“Designed to look like a stack of… (ten)... reeded edge coins, the hinged top opens to reveal a hollow container that originally contained Exposition medals... These are rarely found in as nice condition as this one, with working, hinged lid. Cf. Goldberg Auction 75, Lot 1922, which realized 5.00 for a ten reeded edge size "Box"...”Like the example described above, this example also has a firmly attached working lid with no issues. Marked on the bottom “ PAT. APPL’D FOR. ” with no other markings.
