Description
HK-415A,one of the several Exposition State Dollar designs, a souvenir of the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. This is the scarcest of the four major "Expo State" SCD (other than the extremely rare Gustave Fox version), and tough to find with surfaces like this. Choice Uncirculated, certified NGC MS-62DPL. Obvious DEEP watery DMPL surfaces, the grade limited only by a couple of old stains on the Reverse. Also catalogued in Jeff Shevlin's new text on the series as SH 18-6, priced at 5 in MS-63, which I assume is for a P/L as this is the way they normally come. A former POP TOP as a DMPL, tied with two others as the highest graded until recently, when someone finally made a 64. There are 13 shown in MS-63 & 64 with P/L surfaces.I am happy to combine shipping for multiple items – please use the ebay Shopping Cart feature and ASK FOR AN INVOICE before payment.
