This is an uncirculated bundle of 100 Chinese 2 Er Jiao bank notes from 1980.
Consecutive serial numbers from XK10424001 to XK10424100.
In original paper wrapper, which has split along one edge.
“The People's Bank of China issued Chinese Yuan banknotes in 12 different denominations, including this 2 Er Jiao banknote China. They are part of the Chinese Yuan withdrawn Renminbi banknotes series. The People's Bank of China started issuing these 0.2 Chinese Yuan banknotes in 1980. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1999.
The 2 Er Jiao bill is the equivalent of 0.2 Chinese Yuan. The Jiao is a subunit of the Chinese Renminbi. Ten Jiao is the equivalent of one Yuan. This green coloured 2 Jiao banknote features Pu Yi and Korean young women, and the National Emblem of the People’s Republic of China.”
