Description:
A good or better Chinese bank note issued by the Japanese Imperial Governement during the occupation of China by Japan. This is a 10 Yens banknote. The banknote is similar to those issued in the 1930s in Japan having Wake no Kiyomaro on the obverse and Goou (Gooh) Jinja Shinto Shrine on the reverse. The note has a blue gray colored border and dirty off-white background. It has marks and Japanese characters in red across the front and the back. The banknote has a watermark showing Japanese characters near the top of the note. The note is unsigned and has no serial number. Please view scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

I would grade this banknote as a good or better with all the details being very well preserved. The note has lots of creases all over, it is heavily soiled, and has many splits along the edges. It also has folded and rounded corners. The note has no tears or repairs and is all there. Please see photo for additional condition information.
