Here is a rare Radiant Eagle 1.00 U.S. Gaming Counter for sale. This big beautiful piece is made of silver plated brass or bronze. It is over 150 years old and in lovely original condition. What a popular type this is!
This medal is cataolgued as a Radiant Eagle 1.00. It has a 2145 obverse and a 2030 reverse. It is listed as an R6 rarity with 13 to 30 pieces known. Token is believed to date from the middle 19th century.
The overall diameter of the beaded wreath is about 40 mm excluding the ornate loop. The medal sports a length of 50 mm. The total weight of this piece is 25.4 grams. It is a hefty little treasure!
This medal is in lovely Almost to Brilliant Uncirculated condition. It displays crisp detail and lustrous color. Piece is quite attractive and shows very little wear or toning. The silvering is intact and gives beautiful color. Medal is nicely looped for supension as made. Excellent!
