I am pleased to offer a stunning vintage bone china cup and saucer set made by Aynsley, England
Beautiful and elegant single large pink cabbage rose with green leaves all on rich cobalt blue background
No one can touch the richness of Aynsley cobalt
This set likely most dates from the 1940-50s
Fantastic quality
Virtually mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either cup or saucer; both pass the bone china ping test
No wear to the floral transfer noted
The gold trim is 99% intact and only shows a smidge of wear on one spot on the saucer
There are one pin prick flaws to the glaze of the saucer at edge where the blue paint did not adhere from original manufacture
Cup measures 2 5/8" tall at sides and entire cup is 4 1/4" across including handle; saucer is 5 5/8" across
Marked with older Aynsley crown mark in dark green with saucer having pattern number C957 handpainted in black
Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash
