    Description

    Up for bid is a commemorative medal or so-called dollar issued for the centennial of Yonkers, New York.
    Description: I believe It is made from copper, and measures approximately 1 1/4" in diameter.
    On the front it says "Centennial Establishment of City Government" 1872-1972 "Corporation
    of the City of Yonkers" with George Washington's picture in the middle. On the back "First
    City Hall; City of Yonkers June 1, 1872 Philipse Manor House".
    Comes in a blue plastic case with a sponge liner.
