    Description

    Medallion/token struck to commemorate the 1963 Centennial of the establishment of the Arizona Territory. 35mm, Copper-plated over base metal, antiqued as issued.  This would have qualified for the Hibbler & Kappen reference as a So Called Dollar based upon size and importance of the event commemorated, other than their cut-off date of 1961.  Likely to be included in Jeff Shevlin's future update on the series, although I have not checked with him to be sure.
