Beautiful vintage bone china cup and saucer set made by Royal Ascot, England
Striking and dramatic black and dark red MASQUERADE ROSE pattern as copied from Royal Albert
Very 1960s
Both cup and saucer are in excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, repairs or restoration - both pieces pass the "ping" test of bone china and only the faintest surface scratches to the pattern
No wear to gold trim
Cup measures 2 7/8 inches tall at sides and and 4 3/8 inches across including handle;  saucer is 5 1/2 inches across
