    Description

    1954 "CRADLE OF THE UNION" CELEBRATION 2 Medal (one silver, one bronze) Set issued at Albany NY in red plexiglass holder. Very hard to find today.
    This 2 medal set was issued at Albany NY June 24th 1954, The 200th Anniversary of the Congress of 1754.
    Purpose: To honor 200th anniversary of Albany Congress of 1754, historically the First American Congress, at which Benjamin Franklin presented first plan of Federal Union, authentic forerunner of Articles of Confederation of 1776 and of U.S. Constitution of 1787.
    These are in a Custom holder one is Silver the other is Bronze.  The silver medal Mintage was 1250 HK-510 R-4.  The Bronze
    Medal Mintage was 4000 HK-512 R-1.  Please see pictures closely.  As far as I know these are both in uncirculated condition.
