    Description

This auction is for an extremely nice medal from the Century of Progress Exposition held in Chicago, Illinois in 1933; the event was also called the Chicago World's Fair, and the medal is also referred to as a Michigan Dollar.
It is considered a So-Called Dollar, and is categorized as HK-473 in the Hibler-Kappen reference guide.
In my opinion it is in uncirculated condition, is made of reddish gilt, and is 32.8mm in diameter. I think my starting bid is more than fair as this lists for -0 in uncirculated condition. Grading is subjective, so please look at the super-sizable pictures and grade for yourself.
Shipping for USPS First Class Mail in a 6x9 yellow envelope with the medal in a 2x2 secured between two pieces of corrugated cardboard will be an extra
    .50
, which I think should be pretty close to my actual cost. I do combine shipping and will do my best to ship multiple items together at a reduced total shipping cost. Please no International bidders as unfortunately I've had some bad experiences shipping internationally. Good Luck, and HAPPY BIDDING!
