    Description

This auction is for an extremely nice medal from the dedication of Ulysses S. (U.S.) Grant's tomb in New York City in 1897.
It is considered a So-Called Dollar, and is categorized as HK-278 in the Hibler-Kappen reference guide.
In my opinion it is in almost uncirculated condition (although has light hairlines as seen), is made of white metal, and is 35.1mm in diameter. I think my starting bid is more than fair as this lists for 0-0 in circulated condition, and this should grade on the high end of that. Grading is subjective, so please look at the super-sizable pictures and grade for yourself.
Shipping for USPS First Class Mail in a 6x9 yellow envelope with the medal in a 2x2 secured between two pieces of corrugated cardboard will be an extra
    .50
, which I think should be pretty close to my actual cost. I do combine shipping and will do my best to ship multiple items together at a reduced total shipping cost. Please no International bidders as unfortunately I've had some bad experiences shipping internationally. Good Luck, and HAPPY BIDDING!
