1800's Antique Crushed Purple Velvet Knight's Brotherhood Tunic with Oversized Silver Studs and Leaf Embroidered Gold Satin Trim. It also has 3 Fringed Red Velvet Panels Below the Waist with Gold Metallic Flower Appliques. There are 11 Sets of Hook-and-Eye Closures Along the Back. It is Lined with a Horizontal Striped Fabric. There is a Small Sewn Label that Reads "Appelles"
This is a Heavy Piece.
It Measures Approx. 42.5" Around the Chest, 19" from Shoulder to Shoulder, Sleeve Length 23", 42" Aroud the Waist and 40" in Length.
As you can see from the Pictures, There are Several Signs of Wear, Missing Studs and Stains Yet it is Still in Once Piece After All These Years.
